Jesse TH Chang – Managing Editor

Jesse TH Chang (Managing Partner, TransAsia Lawyers; is a graduate of the Australian National University (B.Ec, LL.B) and Columbia University School of Law (LL.M). He has been advising foreign clients on their investments in China and Chinese clients with their outbound activities for more than 32 years. Jesse has overall responsibility for TransAsia’s international client base, and founded this publication project. Philip Qu

Philip Qu (Managing Partner Beijing, TransAsia Lawyers; is a graduate of the Peking University Law School (LL.B). He specializes in foreign investment, media, IT and telecommunications.  Philip is well-known for having advised several of China’s largest portals, including Sohu, eLong, Renren and Youku, for their foreign IPOs, and on a number of the largest M&A transactions to date in China’s Internet, e-commerce, telecom and gaming sectors.

Dr. Isabelle IH Wan

Dr. Isabelle IH Wan (Senior Partner, TransAsia Lawyers; is a graduate of the Peking University Law School (LL.M in International Economics Law with High Distinction and LL.D in Intellectual Property Law).  She specializes in employment, IT, media and intellectual property law.  Dr Wan participated in drafting the 2005 Online Transaction Platform Service Norms and the 2009 Guiding Opinions on the Protection of Online Commercial Data.  She has also authored publications on e-signatures and the resolution of employment disputes in dotcom businesses.  Among her other positions, she currently serves as the Deputy-Director of the China E-Commerce Association Legal Committee.
